Over the period under review, exports showed a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by 216%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, video game console exports dropped dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, exports recorded a abrupt curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 201%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

Angola (X units), Spain (X units) and the United States (X units) were the main destinations of video game console exports from Portugal, with a combined 66% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Jordan, Italy, Kuwait, Denmark, the UK, China and the Philippines, which together accounted for a further 28%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Kuwait (with a CAGR of +148.7%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
