While the share of India (+14 p.p.), the Netherlands (+6.6 p.p.), Turkey (+5.9 p.p.), Poland (+3.5 p.p.) and France (+2.5 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global exports from 2012-2021, the share of Spain (-1.5 p.p.), the United States (-1.7 p.p.), Mexico (-3.3 p.p.), Taiwan (Chinese) (-3.7 p.p.), the UK (-4 p.p.), China (-5.5 p.p.) and Germany (-8 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, India ($X) remains the largest direct dye supplier from Puerto Rico, comprising 31% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by China ($X), with an 11% share of global exports. It was followed by Spain, with a 9.1% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in India stood at +7.7%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: China (+0.7% per year) and Spain (+2.4% per year).
