In value terms, China ($X) remains the largest non-electrical lamp supplier from Puerto Rico, comprising 70% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Netherlands ($X), with a 3.8% share of global exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 3.5% share.
In China, non-electrical lamp exports decreased by an average annual rate of -1.5% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Netherlands (+1.7% per year) and Germany (-1.2% per year).

Moreover, Thailand emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +28.9% from 2012-2021. Belgium experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, the UK (-1.6%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of the United States (+9.3 p.p.), Thailand (+3.6 p.p.), Poland (+2.9 p.p.) and the Netherlands (+1.8 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2012-2021, the share of the UK (-2.9 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the United States ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported non-electrical lamps and lighting fittings into Puerto Rico, comprising 28% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was held by the UK ($X), with a 9.2% share of global imports. It was followed by Germany, with an 8.2% share.
In the United States, non-electrical lamp imports plunged by an average annual rate of -3.1% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the UK (+1.2% per year) and Germany (-2.5% per year).
