In 2021, Austria (X tons), distantly followed by the United States (X tons), the UK (X tons), France (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Canada (X tons) were the key exporters of propellers and rotors for civil non-powered aircraft, helicopters and aeroplanes, together comprising 76% of total exports. Spain (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) held a little share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Spain (with a CAGR of +23.1%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the UK ($X), the United States ($X) and France ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, together accounting for 59% of total exports. The United States (X tons) held a 12% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Indonesia (5.5%), Canada (5.3%) and France (4.8%). Japan (X tons), the UK (X tons), Egypt (X tons), Australia (X tons) and Spain (X tons) held a minor share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to aircraft propeller imports into Saudi Arabia stood at +113.5%. At the same time, Egypt (+262.3%), France (+15.2%), Indonesia (+13.7%), Spain (+4.6%) and the UK (+4.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Egypt emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in the world, with a CAGR of +262.3% from 2012-2021. The United States experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Australia (-4.6%), Canada (-7.5%) and Japan (-10.7%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Saudi Arabia (+41 p.p.), Indonesia (+2.7 p.p.), France (+2.6 p.p.) and Egypt (+1.9 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2012-2021, the share of Australia (-2.5 p.p.), the United States (-8.1 p.p.), Japan (-11 p.p.) and Canada (-12 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Saudi Arabia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported propellers and rotors for civil non-powered aircraft, helicopters and aeroplanes into Puerto Rico, comprising 36% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was held by the United States ($X), with a 13% share of global imports. It was followed by Canada, with an 8.9% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Saudi Arabia amounted to +136.3%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the United States (+4.2% per year) and Canada (-2.0% per year).
