While the share of China (+34 p.p.), Nepal (+5.6 p.p.), Germany (+5.2 p.p.) and Luxembourg (+2.8 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the global imports from 2012-2021, the share of France (-1.9 p.p.), Belgium (-2.3 p.p.), Turkey (-3.6 p.p.), Argentina (-4 p.p.), the United States (-5.3 p.p.) and Mexico (-9.5 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, China ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported rice bran into Puerto Rico, comprising 45% of global imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Germany ($X), with a 5.6% share of global imports. It was followed by Turkey, with a 5% share.
