In value terms, the United States ($X) remains the largest sawnwood (non-coniferous) supplier from Puerto Rico, comprising 21% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Thailand ($X), with a 9.9% share of global exports. It was followed by Malaysia, with a 5.1% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in the United States stood at +3.5%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Thailand (+4.6% per year) and Malaysia (-4.0% per year).
