In value terms, bituminous mixtures imports fell remarkably to $X in 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate a pronounced contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 315%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then contracted dramatically in the following year.

In 2021, Oman (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of bituminous mixtures to Qatar, with a 71% share of total imports. Moreover, bituminous mixtures imports from Oman exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Iraq (X tons), fivefold. Kuwait (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 7.1% share.
