Overall, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 40% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2020, and then shrank in the following year.
In value terms, inorganic oxygen compounds of non-metals imports dropped to $X in 2021. In general, imports showed a mild contraction.
