The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when exports increased by 108%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Belgium (X tons), Guam (X tons) and France (X tons) were the main destinations of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified exports from South Korea, together accounting for 85% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by France (with a CAGR of +4,222.0%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Guam ($X), Belgium ($X) and the United States ($X) were the largest markets for non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified exported from South Korea worldwide, together accounting for 82% of total exports. Japan, France, Singapore and Russia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 14%.

After five years of growth, purchases abroad of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified decreased by -40% to X tons in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a pronounced shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 56%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports dropped rapidly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 75%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then fell dramatically in the following year.

Vietnam (X tons), Thailand (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main suppliers of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports to South Korea, together accounting for 96% of total imports. China and Iran lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 2.8%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by China (with a CAGR of +155.9%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Vietnam ($X), Thailand ($X) and the United States ($X) were the largest non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified suppliers to South Korea, together comprising 98% of total imports. China and Iran lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 1.4%.
In terms of the main suppliers, China, with a CAGR of +142.8%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified stood at $X per ton in 2022, which is down by -6.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated a temperate increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 an increase of 21%.
