The United States (X units), Germany (X units) and Brazil (X units) were the main destinations of tungsten halogen lamp exports from South Korea, with a combined 38% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Mexico, India, Turkey, China, Belgium, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Latvia and the United Arab Emirates, which together accounted for a further 39%.

From 2012 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Latvia (with a CAGR of +94.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, tungsten halogen lamp imports expanded modestly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed a deep reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 10% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X.
