The Czech Republic (X units), the Netherlands (X units) and Sweden (X units) were the main destinations of electric board, desk and panel exports from Romania, together comprising 43% of total exports. The UK, Spain, France, Austria, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Slovakia, Australia and Germany lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 45%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Slovakia (with a CAGR of +58.1%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Turkey (X units), Hungary (X units) and Bulgaria (X units) were the main suppliers of electric board, desk and panel imports to Romania, with a combined 40% share of total imports.
