Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in years to come.

Poland (X tons), Germany (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main suppliers of butter and dairy spreads imports to Romania, with a combined 63% share of total imports. France, Belgium, Hungary and Bulgaria lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 25%.
