In value terms, cauliflower and broccoli imports contracted to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate buoyant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when imports increased by 46% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell in the following year.
Imports by Country
Germany (X tons), Poland (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main suppliers of cauliflower and broccoli imports to Romania, together comprising 55% of total imports. Italy, Spain, France, Turkey and Hungary lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 41%.
