Bulgaria (X tons), Hungary (X tons) and the UK (X tons) were the main destinations of chicken meat exports from Romania, together accounting for 59% of total exports. These countries were followed by France, the Netherlands, Greece, Ghana, Congo and Slovakia, which together accounted for a further 29%.

In value terms, chicken meat imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.2% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period.
