Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, hydraulic press imports dropped to $X in 2022. Overall, imports showed buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 106%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2021, and then declined in the following year.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of hydraulic press to Romania, accounting for a 60% share of total imports. Moreover, hydraulic press imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Poland (X units), sixfold.
