In value terms, exports of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses contracted slightly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 131% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then shrank in the following year.

In value terms, imports of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses contracted significantly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 48%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then dropped markedly in the following year.

Italy (X tons), Spain (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main suppliers of imports of other plastic tubes, pipes and hoses to Romania, together comprising 54% of total imports.
