Poland (X units), Bulgaria (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main destinations of mobile phone exports from Romania, together accounting for 45% of total exports. Hong Kong SAR, the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Moldova, France, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Italy, the UK and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 45%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Ukraine (with a CAGR of +199.1%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, mobile phone export price increased by +61.6% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average export price increased by 33% against the previous year. The third position in this ranking was held by the Netherlands (X units), with a 7.3% share.
