In value terms, wood chips and particles imports shrank rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed significant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 496% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.

In 2022, Ukraine (X cubic meters) constituted the largest supplier of wood chips and particles to Romania, with a 81% share of total imports.
