The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Kazakhstan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Chile (+53.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the Russian Federation
In 2021, approx. X tons of base metal flexible tubing, iron or steel were imported into Russia; increasing by 5.2% compared with 2020 figures. In general, imports, however, recorded a abrupt decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 37% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The third position in this ranking was held by Turkey (X tons), with an 11% share.

Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per ton), while the price for Serbia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
