From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Lithuania (with a CAGR of +82.1%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Kazakhstan ($X) remains the key foreign market for flat panel video monitor, lcd or plasma exports from Russia, comprising 34% of total exports. Imports into the Russian Federation

After two years of growth, overseas purchases of flat panel video monitor, lcd or plasma decreased by -8.7% to X units in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 439% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, LCDs and plasmas imports declined to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a buoyant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 208%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then fell in the following year.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of LCDs and plasmas to Russia, with a 86% share of total imports. Moreover, LCDs and plasmas imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Czech Republic (X units), more than tenfold.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from China was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the Czech Republic (+50.2% per year) and Japan (+16.4% per year).

In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of flat panel video monitor, lcd or plasma to Russia, comprising 71% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Japan ($X), with a 5.2% share of total imports.
