Imports into the Russian Federation
Seafood meals and pellets imports into Russia declined remarkably to X tons in 2021, with a decrease of -58.3% on 2020. Overall, imports faced a precipitous setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 38% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, seafood meals and pellets imports reduced remarkably to $X in 2021. In general, imports faced a precipitous contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 33%. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, Morocco (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of seafood meals and pellets to Russia, with a 70% share of total imports.
