Frozen orange juice exports from Russia stood at X tons in 2018, remaining stable against the previous year. Over the period under review, frozen orange juice exports, however, continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when exports increased by X% year-to-year. In that year, frozen orange juice exports reached their peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2018, the growth of frozen orange juice exports failed to regain its momentum.

In value terms, frozen orange juice exports amounted to $X in 2018. Over the period under review, frozen orange juice exports, however, continue to indicate outstanding growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008 when exports increased by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, frozen orange juice exports reached their maximum at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2018, exports remained at a lower figure.

Exports by Country

Belarus (X tons), Belgium (X tons) and Kazakhstan (X tons) were the main destinations of frozen orange juice exports from Russia, together comprising X% of total exports. Uzbekistan, Armenia, Austria and Azerbaijan lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Austria (+X% per year), while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the largest markets for frozen orange juice exported from Russia were Belarus ($X), Belgium ($X) and Kazakhstan ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports.

In terms of the main countries of destination, Kazakhstan (+X% per year) experienced the highest growth rate of market size, over the period under review, while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2018, the average frozen orange juice export price amounted to $X per ton, dropping by -X% against the previous year. In general, the export price indicated remarkable growth from 2007 to 2018: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last eleven-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2018 figures, frozen orange juice export price increased by +X% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008 an increase of X% y-o-y. The export price peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2018, export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Azerbaijan ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Belarus ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kazakhstan, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Overall, frozen orange juice imports continue to indicate a deep reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008 when imports decreased by -X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, frozen orange juice imports attained their maximum at X tons in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2018, the Netherlands (X tons) constituted the largest frozen orange juice supplier to Russia, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, frozen orange juice imports from the Netherlands exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Brazil (X tons), threefold. Cuba (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2018, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from the Netherlands amounted to -X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Brazil (+X% per year) and Cuba (-X% per year).

From 2007 to 2018, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from the Netherlands amounted to -X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Cuba (-X% per year) and Brazil (+X% per year).

In 2018, the average frozen orange juice import price amounted to $X per ton, going up by X% against the previous year. Over the period from 2007 to 2018, it increased at an average annual rate of +X%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by X% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2018 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2018, the country with the highest price was Cuba ($X per ton), while the price for Malaysia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
