In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of machinery for solid-liquid separation, when their volume decreased by -7.6% to X units. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a resilient expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when exports increased by 610%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, solid-liquid separator exports contracted modestly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, posted strong growth. Exports by Country

China (X units), Uzbekistan (X units) and India (X units) were the main destinations of solid-liquid separator exports from Russia, with a combined 37% share of total exports. These countries were followed by the United States, Armenia, the Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Germany, Turkey, Ukraine, Cyprus and Kyrgyzstan, which together accounted for a further 44%.

Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 81%. Imports peaked at X units in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

The average solid-liquid separator import price stood at $X per thousand units in 2022, remaining stable against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a slight descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the average import price increased by 10% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $X per thousand units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
