Production of peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, production failed to regain momentum.

After two years of decline, overseas shipments of thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates; thiuram mono-, di- or tetrasulphides; methionine increased by 6.3% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by 19%. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, exports of thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates; thiuram mono-, di- or tetrasulphides; methionine reduced to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a noticeable setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Belarus (X tons) was the main destination for exports of thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates; thiuram mono-, di- or tetrasulphides; methionine from Russia, with a 50% share of total exports. Moreover, exports of thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates; thiuram mono-, di- or tetrasulphides; methionine to Belarus exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Oman (X tons), threefold. Kazakhstan (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 13% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Belarus amounted to +13.3%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Oman (+45.4% per year) and Kazakhstan (+34.9% per year).
In value terms, Belarus ($X) remains the key foreign market for thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates; thiuram mono-, di- or tetrasulphides; methionine exports from Russia, comprising 48% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Oman ($X), with a 17% share of total exports. It was followed by Kazakhstan, with a 15% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Belarus stood at +8.2%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Oman (+40.7% per year) and Kazakhstan (+26.4% per year).
Export Prices by Country
In 2022, the average export price for thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates; thiuram mono-, di- or tetrasulphides; methionine amounted to $X per ton, waning by -10.6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a perceptible setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the average export price increased by 33%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major external markets. Imports into the Russian Federation
In 2022, approx. X tons of thiocarbamates and dithiocarbamates; thiuram mono-, di- or tetrasulphides; methionine were imported into Russia; with an increase of 5% compared with 2021. The third position in this ranking was held by Japan (X tons), with a 9.2% share.
