In value terms, safety seat belt exports reduced to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a drastic downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by 49%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Belarus (X units) was the main destination for safety seat belt exports from Russia, accounting for a 79% share of total exports. Moreover, safety seat belt exports to Belarus exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Egypt (X units), fivefold.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume to Belarus stood at -1.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Egypt (+4.7% per year) and Kazakhstan (-6.4% per year).
In value terms, Belarus ($X), Egypt ($X) and Kazakhstan ($X) constituted the largest markets for safety seat belt exported from Russia worldwide, with a combined 95% share of total exports.
Egypt, with a CAGR of +26.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average safety seat belt export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, declining by -16.4% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Imports into the Russian Federation
Safety seat belt imports into Russia reduced to X units in 2022, which is down by -5.4% against the previous year's figure. Overall, imports saw a abrupt decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 22% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, safety seat belt imports declined to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a abrupt contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 36%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

China (X units), Romania (X units) and South Korea (X units) were the main suppliers of safety seat belt imports to Russia, with a combined 68% share of total imports. Japan, Poland, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Germany and Estonia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 27%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Belarus (with a CAGR of +25.8%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.
In value terms, China ($X), South Korea ($X) and Romania ($X) were the largest safety seat belt suppliers to Russia, together comprising 60% of total imports. Japan, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Belarus and Estonia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 31%.
Belarus, with a CAGR of +10.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average safety seat belt import price amounted to $X per unit, waning by -5.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when the average import price increased by 53% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $X per unit in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the price for Belarus ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
