Soups Market Size in the Russian Federation

The Russian soups market contracted to $X in 2021, standing approx. at the previous year. In general, consumption recorded a noticeable downturn. Kazakhstan (X tons) was the main destination for soups exports from Russia, accounting for a 38% share of total exports. Moreover, soups exports to Kazakhstan exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Belarus (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Uzbekistan (X tons), with a 7.3% share.

In 2021, the average soups export price amounted to $X per ton, surging by 8.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a perceptible decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when the average export price increased by 9.8%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per ton. Ukraine (X tons), Spain (X tons) and Belarus (X tons) were the main suppliers of soups imports to Russia, together accounting for 73% of total imports.
