From 2014 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

China (X tons), Finland (X tons) and Israel (X tons) were the main destinations of unsaturated acyclic hydrocarbons exports from Russia, together comprising 99% of total exports.

In 2021, the United States (X tons) constituted the largest unsaturated acyclic hydrocarbons supplier to Russia, with a 65% share of total imports. Moreover, unsaturated acyclic hydrocarbons imports from the United States exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Qatar (X tons), threefold. Saudi Arabia (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 13% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from the United States stood at +98.8%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Qatar (+19.0% per year) and Saudi Arabia (+269.7% per year).

In value terms, the United States ($X) constituted the largest supplier of unsaturated acyclic hydrocarbons to Russia, comprising 65% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Qatar ($X), with an 18% share of total imports. It was followed by Saudi Arabia, with a 14% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from the United States stood at +71.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Qatar (+11.3% per year) and Saudi Arabia (+225.5% per year).

In 2021, the average unsaturated acyclic hydrocarbons import price amounted to $X per ton, surging by 22% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a perceptible curtailment. The import price peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
