Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Pakistan, Lebanon, Guinea, Mozambique, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Cameroon lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 38%.

Kyrgyzstan, with a CAGR of +166.6%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average wheat export price amounted to $X per ton, shrinking by -11.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a slight setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 26%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $X per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Kazakhstan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2017 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, wheat imports soared to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a perceptible shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 52%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Kazakhstan (X tons) was the main wheat supplier to Russia, accounting for a approx. 99% share of total imports.
