In South Africa, double or complex silicates exports expanded at an average annual rate of +22.4% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Zimbabwe (+33.9% per year) and Zambia (+3.6% per year).

Export Prices by Country

In 2021, the export price in SADC amounted to $X per ton, growing by 4.5% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a deep contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 794%. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
