South Africa (X tons) held a relatively small share of total exports.

In 2022, South Africa (X tons) represented the largest importer of pulses, creating X% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Angola (X tons), Democratic Republic of the Congo (X tons), Mauritius (X tons) and Zimbabwe (X tons), together mixing up a X% share of total imports. The following importers - Madagascar (X tons) and Swaziland (X tons) - each recorded an X% share of total imports.
Imports into South Africa decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Madagascar (X%), Swaziland (X%) and Democratic Republic of the Congo (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
