In 2021, South Africa (X units) represented the largest importer of sawing or cutting-off machines for working metal, creating 42% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Zambia (X units), Tanzania (X units), Botswana (X units) and Zimbabwe (X units), together comprising a 44% share of total imports. Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Zimbabwe ($X per unit), while Zambia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Zimbabwe (+6.7%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the import price figures.
