It was distantly followed by Botswana (X tons), Tanzania (X tons), Angola (X tons) and Democratic Republic of the Congo (X tons), together achieving a 27% share of total imports. The following importers - Mozambique (X tons) and Namibia (X tons) - each accounted for a 6.7% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to iron or steel tube fitting imports into South Africa stood at -1.9%. At the same time, Mozambique (+5.8%), Tanzania (+3.4%) and Botswana (+2.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. The second position in the ranking was held by Angola ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by Democratic Republic of the Congo, with a 7% share.

In South Africa, iron or steel tube fitting imports shrank by an average annual rate of -1.2% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Angola (-9.6% per year) and Democratic Republic of the Congo (-7.4% per year).
