Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Angola was the main importer of wine and grape must in SADC, with the volume of imports accounting for X litres, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2022. Namibia (X litres) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Botswana (X%), Tanzania (X%) and Mauritius (X%).
