In 2021, the amount of barley imported into Saudi Arabia dropped notably to X tons, with a decrease of -19.4% on the year before. Over the period under review, imports recorded a noticeable decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 71% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

The third position in this ranking was held by Ukraine (X tons), with a 7% share.
