In terms of the main countries of destination, Yemen, with a CAGR of +63.7%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Fruit or nut preserves imports into Saudi Arabia surged to X tons in 2021, jumping by 72% compared with the previous year. Over the period under review, imports recorded buoyant growth. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, fruit or nut preserves imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +8.0% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +116.5% against 2017 indices. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from India stood at +53.3%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: France (+19.7% per year) and Belgium (+12.4% per year).
