Bahrain (X tons) was the main destination for lemon and lime exports from Saudi Arabia, accounting for a 87% share of total exports. Moreover, lemon and lime exports to Bahrain exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Poland (X tons), more than tenfold.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume to Bahrain stood at +35.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Poland (+33.7% per year) and Brunei Darussalam (+15.2% per year).
In value terms, Bahrain ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for lemons and limes exports from Saudi Arabia, comprising 54% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Poland ($X), with a 24% share of total exports.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
