Sanitary towel and diaper imports into Saudi Arabia surged to X tons in 2021, picking up by 15% compared with 2020 figures. Overall, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 34% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2012; afterwards, it flattened through to 2021.
