The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 10%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, cabbage imports contracted to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by -15.0% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 24% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, Sweden (X tons) was the largest importer of cabbage and other brassicas, creating 77% of total imports. Norway (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Finland (X tons). All these countries together took near 23% share of total imports.
