Sweden dominates exports structure, amounting to X tons, which was approx. 90% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Norway (X tons) and Finland (X tons), together generating a 10% share of total exports.

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% over the period from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of 7.9%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, canned vegetable imports dropped slightly to $X in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +1.9% over the period from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 11% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In 2022, Sweden (X tons) represented the main importer of canned vegetables, committing 61% of total imports. It was distantly followed by Norway (X tons) and Finland (X tons), together making up a 39% share of total imports.
