From 2014 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, hot-rolled silico-manganese steel bar imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a deep reduction. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Sweden was the key importing country with an import of about X tons, which resulted at 49% of total imports. Norway (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Denmark (X tons) and Finland (X tons). All these countries together took near 51% share of total imports.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($X per ton), while Finland ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
