Sweden prevails in exports structure, resulting at X tons, which was near 93% of total exports in 2022. The following exporters - Norway (X tons) and Finland (X tons) - together made up 6.7% of total exports.

Moreover, Norway emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Scandinavia, with a CAGR of +8.7% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Finland (-13.1%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Sweden and Norway increased by +6.8 and +2.1 percentage points, respectively.
In value terms, Sweden ($X) remains the largest potato chips supplier in Scandinavia, comprising 93% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Norway ($X), with a 4.3% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Sweden was relatively modest. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Norway (+11.8% per year) and Finland (-10.9% per year).

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 16% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, potato chips imports reached $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 19%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, Sweden (X tons) was the largest importer of potato chips, comprising 65% of total imports. Finland (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Norway (X tons). All these countries together held near 35% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to potato chips imports into Sweden stood at -1.7%. At the same time, Finland (+3.1%) and Norway (+2.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Finland emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Scandinavia, with a CAGR of +3.1% from 2012-2022.
