Over the period under review, the export prices attained the maximum in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Finland ($X per unit), while Sweden ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of radio receivers increased by 9.6% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after three years of decline. In general, imports, however, saw a abrupt decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 65% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, radio receiver imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 30% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, Sweden (X units) represented the largest importer of radio receivers, making up 58% of total imports. Finland (X units) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Norway (X units). All these countries together took near 42% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to radio receiver imports into Sweden stood at -9.2%. Finland (-3.3%) and Norway (-11.9%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period.
