The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +37.1% against 2014 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 19% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2020, and then dropped in the following year.
In value terms, non-reinforced rubber tubing imports rose sharply to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +4.8% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 29%. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Finland (X tons) and Sweden (X tons) represented the largest importers of rubber tubing not reinforced in 2021, resulting at near 39% and 36% of total imports, respectively. Norway (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 13% share, followed by Denmark (12%).
