The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 28%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons, and then contracted dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, composite laboratory reagents imports reduced dramatically to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 121%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then reduced dramatically in the following year.

The Netherlands (X tons), Germany (X tons) and the Czech Republic (X tons) were the main suppliers of composite laboratory reagents imports to Serbia, with a combined 27% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for the Czech Republic (with a CAGR of +64.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
