Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then contracted in the following year.

In value terms, dried vegetables exports rose remarkably to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Germany (X tons), Hungary (X tons) and Croatia (X tons) were the main destinations of dried vegetables exports from Serbia, with a combined X% share of total exports. France, Russia, the United States, the Netherlands, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

In general, imports, however, posted a measured increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, dried vegetables imports shrank dramatically to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a tangible expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then reduced remarkably in the following year.
