In value terms, mixed juices exports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, exports saw prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 97%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Libya (X tons) was the main destination for mixed juices exports from Serbia, with a 75% share of total exports. Moreover, mixed juices exports to Libya exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Montenegro (X tons), more than tenfold. Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 4.1% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Libya totaled +83.0%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Montenegro (+1.4% per year) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (+10.4% per year).

In value terms, Libya ($X) remains the key foreign market for mixtures of fruit and vegetable juices exports from Serbia, comprising 57% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Montenegro ($X), with a 10% share of total exports. It was followed by Slovakia, with a 7.3% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Libya totaled +73.7%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Montenegro (+1.1% per year) and Slovakia (+21.9% per year).

In 2022, the average mixed juices export price amounted to $X per ton, falling by -20.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a abrupt descent. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2021, and then reduced notably in the following year.

In value terms, mixed juices imports contracted sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a measured increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 122%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then declined rapidly in the following year.

Imports by Country

Italy (X tons), Brazil (X tons) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (X tons) were the main suppliers of mixed juices imports to Serbia, with a combined 48% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Bosnia and Herzegovina (with a CAGR of +167.2%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
