In value terms, Austria ($X) remains the key foreign market for raspberries and blackberries exports from Serbia, comprising 63% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with a 25% share of total exports. It was followed by Russia, with a 6% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Austria stood at +17.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Italy (+30.9% per year) and Russia (+24.7% per year).

After two years of decline, overseas purchases of raspberries and blackberries increased by 927% to X tons in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 6,737% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
