In 2022, after six years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of textile hosepiping and similar textile tubing, when their volume decreased by -41.8% to X tons. In general, imports, however, showed notable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 84%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, textile tubing imports reduced rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a prominent expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 171% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

China (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Greece (X tons) were the main suppliers of textile tubing imports to Serbia, with a combined 78% share of total imports. Croatia, Norway, Turkey and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 17%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Norway (with a CAGR of +83.6%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
