Loudspeaker Market Size in Singapore

For the third consecutive year, the Singaporean loudspeaker market recorded growth in sales value, which increased by 6.4% to $X in 2022. Overall, the total consumption indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, consumption decreased by +0.8% against 2018 indices. Over the period under review, the market hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in years to come.

The United Arab Emirates, with a CAGR of +75.6%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average loudspeaker export price stood at $X per unit in 2022, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a buoyant increase. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a pronounced decline. Imports peaked at X units in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, loudspeaker imports soared to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a mild decline. Imports peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

Vietnam (X units), China (X units) and Thailand (X units) were the main suppliers of loudspeaker imports to Singapore, together accounting for 88% of total imports.
