The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 166% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the exports failed to regain momentum.

South Korea (X tons), Brunei Darussalam (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons) were the main destinations of plastic household ware exports from Singapore, with a combined 39% share of total exports.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 39% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
